It’s usually a federal holiday that disrupts community trash service but this week, but this week, the winter weather around the area is pushing trash service back one day.

Advanced Disposal trash service has announced that trash service will be delayed one day due to inclement weather. The affected areas include: Boonville, Pilot Grove, Blackwater, Nelson, Fayette, Harrisburg and New Franklin. 

Residents whose trash day is usually Wednesday should be prepared for trash pickup on Thursday. Normal Thursday collection will happen Friday, and normal Friday collection is planned for Saturday.
