Facebook Live sessions will be available for those interested twice a month on the Care Connection Medicare 101 Facebook page.

A news release says the free sessions will take place at noon the first and third Mondays of each month.

The sessions are geared toward people who are new to Medicare, and those who are considering retirement.

During the one-hour sessions, certified Medicare counselors will explain the options that newcomers have available in Medicare and what each means, depending on an individual’s situation. Attendees will be able to ask questions in the comments during the sessions.

The session includes explanations of Parts A, B, C and D, as well as Advantage plans and supplemental plans.
