Dennis Scarborough has been named Marshall Municipal Utilities “Employee of the Quarter” for the quarter ending December 31, 2020.

In nominating Scarborough, Electric Production Director Carl Crawford highlighted Scarborough’s work as a Dispatch Operator in Electric Production.

“Dennis does a great job on a day-to-day basis as a Dispatch Operator from midnight to 8:00 a.m.  The ‘backshift’ is a somewhat thankless job due to the fact it isn’t normally seen and is easily forgotten.”  Crawford continued, “He is a very reliable and dependable employee who has definitely seen his share of overtime during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

In conclusion, Crawford said, “Dennis is always willing to take up the slack when needed and does a very good job of paying attention to the details.  Although it is not said often enough, his work is very much appreciated.”

Scarborough joined MMU in August 2009 as a Dispatch Operator in MMU’s Electric Production department; he continues to hold that position today.
