A California, Missouri, man is facing a couple of felonies in Cooper County.

On October 19, a Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper, attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle registered to a wanted felon, considered armed and dangerous, identified as Brandon Eugene Pace.

Pace attempted to allude law enforcement and crashed into a tractor trailer on I-70.

Pace is charged with Class D Felonies for Stealing a Firearm, Explosive Weapon or Ammonium Nitrate and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm; a Class E Felony for resisting arrest; and a driving-related misdemeanor. Pace posted $25,000 surety bond on February 10.

His initial appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m., Tuesday, March 30 at Cooper County Circuit Court.
