A 34-year-old New Jersey man is facing felony drug charges in Cooper County.

David Cheng waived formal arraignment and pleaded not guilty on February 22, to a Class D Felony for Trafficked Drugs in the Second Degree and a driving related misdemeanor after a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper, found approximately 90 pounds of marijuana during a search of a vehicle on August 12 on I-70 in Cooper County.

A Trial Setting in this case is scheduled for 9 a.m., Wednesday, May 5 at Cooper County Circuit Court.
