A Holden man was fatally injured in a traffic crash in Johnson County on Tuesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 56-year-old Samuel Chapman, of Holden was ejected from his southbound motorcycle after it traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. Chapman was pronounced deceased by Dr. Brigg.

The crash happened at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on U Highway, south of County Road 250.
