A 36-year-old Sedalia man will spend a few years in jail for taking another person’s vehicle without permission last year.

The victim alleges that Travis Lawson stole his vehicle on December 29, 2020.

Lawson pleaded guilty on April 5 to a Class D Felony for Stealing a Motor Vehicle.

The court ordered Lawson to three years in the Department of Corrections.
