Three Marshall High School students have been honored by a national organization.

The students have achieved the National Speech and Debate Association’s Academic All-American award.

John Miles, Connor Grossenburg and Olivia Kiso recently were recognized by the NSDA.

Of the more than 150,000 members of the NSDA, fewer than one percent of students earn the Academic All-American award each year.

This award recognizes students who have completed five semesters of high school, earned the degree of superior distinction of 750 points and have achieved rigorous criteria for grade-point average (GPA) and test scores.

The students are coached by Paul Gieringer.
