
Three recent reported incidents currently are under investigation in Saline County.
According to reports from the sheriff’s department, on May 5, a deputy was dispatched to an establishment in the 100 block of East Maple in Slater for the report of shoplifting not in progress. The business provided video surveillance footage.
A deputy took a report of a vehicle being broken into and items stolen between 4 p.m. on May 6 and 2:37 p.m. on May 7. The incident was reported as happening at a residence in the 200 block of West Lincoln Street in Slater.
Also on May 7, deputies were dispatched to investigate property damage to a church in the 600 block of North Main Street in Blackburn. Investigation shows the front door glass was broken. The estimated cost of damage to St. Paul United Church of Christ is approximately $700.
