Route YY is scheduled to be closed at I-70 beginning June 7 through mid-November 2021 for bridge removal and replacement.

This project will also include the following traffic implications:
· Ramps at the I-70 and and YY interchange will be closed during the bridge removal from 9 a.m. Monday, June 7, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 9.

· I-70 will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the YY interchange from 9 a.m. Monday, June 7, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, June 9. One lane of I-70 traffic will be routed on the Route YY on and off ramps. During this time, I-70 traffic will not be able to access Route YY, and Route YY traffic will not be able to access I-70.

· There will be periodic lane closures on I-70 near the interchange from June 7 through mid-November 2021.

Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
