Paul Edward Thies, age 73, of Glasgow, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Glasgow, where a Rosary or Prayer Service will be held at 3:30 p.m., with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1. Burial will follow Wednesday’s services at Washington Cemetery in Glasgow.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church or the Glasgow High School FFA.

Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Glasgow is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include: wife, Colette Thies, of Glasgow; daughters, Laura (Jeremy) Korte), of Glasgow, and Sarah (Dave) Thompson, of Fayette; sons, Steven (Cam) Thies, of Glasgow, and Grant (Paula) Thies, of Glasgow; brothers, Jerome (Kathleen) Thies, of Glasgow, and Danny (Robin) Thies, of Glasgow; sister, Bonnie (Jeff) Meyer, of Glasgow; and 10 grandchildren- Isaac, Gus, Preston, Paysen, Pryce, Nathan, Charley, Trenton, Briley and Rhett.
