The Salisbury R-4 School Board talked about some work that needs to be completed at one of the schools during a special Zoom meeting last week.

According to unofficial minutes from the meeting, Superintendent Tony Whitson reported that he talked to the district’s attorney about prevailing wage, and he would like to be able to have this project completed over the summer.

The board voted to accept the bid of $150,675.45 from Smith Heating and Cooling to replace the HVAC units.

The bid includes all equipment, materials, piping, electrical and labor to complete the project for the elementary building- north and south half. But it does not include bid bonds.
