Beginning at midnight Tuesday, June 15 and continuing through 10 a.m., the Public Works Department will be painting roadway markings, including curbing and parking space lines in downtown Sedalia.

Specifically, the area where the work will be completed is bordered by Main St. on the north, Broadway Blvd. on the south, Lamine Ave. on the west and S. Kentucky Ave. on the east. Residents in this area may see City equipment and workers measuring, marking and then painting roadway, curb and parking space lines.

Completing the work in the overnight hours is intended to keep to a minimum impact to residents and visitors coming to the downtown area during business hours.
