
An inmate at an area jail charged with a drug-related felony for an incident that took place in June 2020 has a court proceeding set for this week.
Alexander Garmon allegedly had a person outside the jail mail him an illegal substance while he was incarcerated.
On March 16, Garmon pleaded not guilty to a Class C Felony for Conspiracy for Delivery to or Possession of a Controlled Substance at a Jail Facility. Bond is set at $7,500 cash or surety.
A preliminary hearing setting is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at Cooper County Circuit Court.
