The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch until 7 a.m. on Sunday, June 27.

According to a release from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office, this includes Chariton, Cooper, Howard, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline Counties in the KMMO listening area.

More moderate to heavy rain is expected throughout the day on Saturday.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
