The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has extended a Flash Flood Watch for all of the KMMO listening area again.

The Flash Flood Watch is in effect through 7 a.m. Thursday, July 1.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Officials say Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Heavy rain over already saturated ground may lead to flash flooding.

The Flash Flood Watch includes Saline, Carroll, Chariton, Cooper, Howard, Johnson, Lafayette and Pettis Counties.
