During the meeting of the Marshall School Board this week, Laura Jacobi, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, reviewed the 2021B MSBA policies which were up for adoption on virtual instruction.
Students requesting an application for approval to enroll in virtual instruction (either through MOCAP or the Marshall platform Acellus) will access the forms on the Marshall schools’ webpage under parent resources (online learning). The webpage can be located at marshallschools.com.
Documents also will be available upon request at school buildings in August. Once received, counselors and administrators will process applications.
Enrollment deadlines are set for 10 business days prior to the start of school for either program. Second-semester deadlines are 10 business days before the end of the first semester. Deadlines for the 2021-22 school year for virtual requests are August 11 for the first semester and December 6 for second-semester requests.
In other news, the board approved the district’s tax-rate hearing to be held at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, August 24.
