Saline County has received half of its total disbursement of $4.4 million from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) signed into law by President Joe Biden earlier this year.

However, there are still many questions as to how the money can be spent.

During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, July 22, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden said the latest set of updated guidelines was received on July 19.

Gooden further clarified that the NEU designation includes every city, town and village in Saline County.
