Charles L. Mason, son of Charlotte and the late Henry Mason, passed on July 20, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

Charles was born April 11, 1961, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1979 and attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg.

He was devoted to his family and always had time for others. He was an avid sports fan of the Wisconsin Badgers.

He was preceded in death by his father and by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He leaves to mourn his death one daughter, Hope A. Mason; his mother, Charlotte Mason; one brother, Henry S. (Deborah) Mason; one very loyal special cousin, Clarence (Janet) Smith; and a host of other cousins and friends.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at Fairview Cemetery in Marshall, MO to say farewell to a wonderful man and a life well lived. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.
