After the devastating flooding damaged Indian Foothills Park Golf Course, and made Hole No. 12 inaccessible and unplayable in late June, the Marshall Parks and Recreation Department has been working on a plan to fix the problem and get the hole reopened, but it will take some time.
During the meeting of the Park Board on Wednesday, August 4, Golf Course Superintendent and Equipment Supervisor Tim Rogers gave an update.
Rogers was asked if the rock wall will stay in place.
Rogers said the hope is to have newly-configured Hole No. 12 open by April 1, 2022. But that could change due to a variety of factors.
In other news, Rogers said the last day the Marshall Aquatic Center will be open is Sunday, August 15. The annual Doggie Plunge is scheduled for Sunday, August 22.
