Marshall Public Schools’ Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher has issued a clarification regarding a text message the district sent out.
Dr. Maher’s clarification says, “This morning, there was a text alert sent stating that students must be immunized before coming to school. This does not pertain to (the) COVID-19 vaccination. Students and adults are not required to be vaccinated for COVID before entering an MPS building. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.”
Part of the original text message says “Reach out to your building nurse if you have any questions.”
