During the Slater City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 17, the council reminded residents about the city-wide alert resource, that can be found digitally.

The City Assistant Administrator Gene Griffith explained how individuals can sign up for city-wide alerts.

In other news, Assistant Administrator Griffith says the annual tax rate hearing has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 24.

Griffith says after the hearing, the council will review it at its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 7.
