An old locomotive is scheduled to be in Johnson County on Tuesday, August 31.

According to the Warrensburg Police Department, area residents are invited to see the Union Pacific’s 4014 Big Boy, a steam-powered locomotive built in the 1940s.

Authorities say it will be stopping at the Warrensburg train station.

The streets around it- Holden at Railroad to Commercial- will be blocked for the public to take photographs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
