
More than 60 students were quarantined due to COVID-19 protocols in the Lexington R-5 School District going into this past weekend.
According to the district’s dashboard, there were 10 total active positive cases of the virus in the district as of 3 p.m. Friday, September 10. There have been 14 total positive cases.
In all, 67 persons were quarantined as of the update.
District officials say, “If your student is considered a close contact, you will be notified by the district.”
