During the Marshall City Council meeting on Monday, the council announced the hiring of JD Kehrman as its new City Administrator.

JD Kehrman began his position on Tuesday, September 21.

Prior to becoming City Administrator for Marshall, Kehrman says he was the City Manager for the City of Nevada for 10 years.

Kehrman explained his goals as the new city administrator.

Marshall has been without a city administrator since the resignation of David Haugland in early May.

In a press release from Mayor Julie Schwetz she says, “With the new season comes this new, exciting opportunity for growth in Marshall. As City Administrator, Mr. Kehrman is a needed member of the leadership team to help the Mayor and Council continue to achieve real results for the betterment of all.”
