
The active COVID-19 case count is still in triple digits but down from its peak in Saline County.
According to the Saline County Health Department’s Dashboard, there were 124 active cases in the county as of Monday, September 27. But that is down from 211 active cases that were reported on September 16.
There have been 4,015 total positive cases – 3,315 confirmed and 700 probable- since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been 87 positives in the last week and 237 positives in the last two weeks.
The health department reports there have been 74 COVID-19-related deaths in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
Katy Trail Community Health is offering free COVID-19 testing from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at its office at 1825 South Atchison Avenue in Marshall.
