On Wednesday, September 29, three area cities announced water complications.

Due to line repairs in Nelson, a 48-hour boil advisory will be in affect for all residents until 3 p.m. Friday, October 1.

A water-main break in the city of Gilliam caused residents to lose access to running water for a limited time Wednesday afternoon. City officials say a repair has been made and a boil order has been issued to all residents until 5 p.m. Saturday, October 2.

Public Water Supply District No. 1 of Saline County has issued a boil order for all of its customers for the next three to five days due to a water-main leak. If you have any questions over the Public Water Supply District No. 1 boil order, you can call (660) 886-3358.

Again, Gilliam and PWSD NO. 1 has issued a boil order to its residents and customers – not an advisory.
