Sarah E. Durham, age 69, of Slater, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Glasgow Gardens.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater, with Rev. Paul List officiating. Inurnment will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery at Sharon. 

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Born November 29, 1951, in Carrollton, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Betty Bell Watts. On September 15, 1973 in Carrollton, she married Jerry Durham, and he survives of the home.

Also surviving are two daughters, Laura Durham of Slater, and Paula Bales of Salisbury; five grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Watts of Carrollton and John Watts of the state of Florida; and a sister, Janet Watts of Carrollton.  She was preceded in death by a granddaughter; and two brothers.

Mrs. Durham retired after 30 years of service at the Marshall Habilitation Center, and was of the Baptist faith.
