A Slater man who allegedly participated in the assault of another man last year, and is charged with a felony is due in court.
According to a probable-cause statement, authorities say Daniel Hamblen and another person assaulted a man on October 3, 2020.
Court documents say Hamblen is charged with a felony for third-degree assault. Bond remains at $15,000 cash only. Hamblen’s lawyer filed a motion for bond reduction on September 12.
Hamblen’s case was bound over to the trial division, and he pleaded not guilty on July 26. A plea/trial-setting hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, October 4, at Saline County Circuit Court.
