A Marshall man who has been charged with felonies for allegedly being the suspect in a pursuit in Marshall on June 24 has a court proceeding scheduled.
According to a probable-cause statement, a deputy tried to pull over Ethan Harris, but Harris failed to stop and continued at a high rate of speed. Additional authorities were called to assist with the chase.
The vehicle later was located at the intersection of Lincoln and 200th road; the front end had collided with the ditch; and Harris was running through a soybean field.
Court documents say Harris is charged with tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree and resisting arrest, detention or stop by fleeing. Bond remains at $15,000 cash only.
Harris, who pleaded not guilty on September 23, is scheduled to appear for a plea/trial-setting hearing at 9 a.m. Monday, October 4, at Saline County Circuit Court.
