An area city’s government is alerting its citizens about an upcoming scheduled hydrant-flusing event.

According to a release from Waverly City Hall, the city is scheduled to flush water hydrants on Tuesday, October 12.

Due to the flushing of hydrants, the city suggests residents not to wash clothes on that day.
