The bloodsucking parasites that made multiple appearances in the Marshall Public School District in the months prior to the COVID-19 pandemic are back.
According to a notification from Marshall High School Principal Christy Jones, the district has found a few bed bugs in three rooms at MHS.
The MPS custodial crew and administration have closed all three rooms and treated the areas.
Jones says, “We will be closing the Marshall High School carpeted area starting at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 8, in order to have the entire building treated.”
Jones says all classrooms will be open and ready for students and staff by 7 a.m. Monday, October 11.
