Saline County residents may not be able to see some road signs.

During the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, October 14, Northern District Commissioner Stephanie Gooden said residents should contact the E-911 Center.

In other news, the commission was asked to approve new part-time and full-time employees for the sheriff’s department. Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. gave the details.

Commissioners approved the hiring of the new employees.

In other business, Jack Harvey’s appointment as the county’s representative on the transportation committee through Pioneer Trails also was approved.
