At the meeting of the Saline County Commission on Thursday, October 14, Presiding Commissioner Kile Guthrey Jr. read a letter from Clerk Debbie Russell.

Guthrey explained it is regarding the annual contribution election for the County Employee Retirement Fund (CERF).

Continuing reading from the letter, Guthrey said, “A county can only change the election one time per year, with the new election becoming effective on January 1….”

The commissioners voted to keep it the same.
