
Another COVID-19-related death has been reported in Saline County, raising its total to 77 since the beginning of the pandemic.
According to the Saline County Health Department’s Dashboard, the active COVID-19 case count has shrunk from 56 on Tuesday, October 12, to 49 on Sunday, October 17.
There have been 4,162 total positive cases- up from 4,151 at last report. There have been 3,413 confirmed and 749 probable cases since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been 22 positives in the last week and 71 positives in the last two weeks.
The total positive case count includes: 816 persons in the zero to 20 age group; 683 in 20 to 29; 651 in 30 to 39; 551 in 40 to 49; 531 in 50 to 59; 452 in 60 to 69; 294 in 70 to 79; and 184 in 80-plus.
Katy Trail Community Health is offering free COVID-19 testing from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at its office at 1825 South Atchison Avenue in Marshall.
