Area residents have a chance to donate food and meet a professional team’s cheerleaders on Wednesday, October 20, at schools in Johnson County.

According to the Warrensburg R-6 School District, a canned-food drive is scheduled to be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the middle school at 640 East Gay Street and the high school at 1411 Ridgeview Drive.

The Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders will be cheering on the crowd.

District officials say if you donate at least 10 cans of food, you will get an autographed photo of the cheerleaders.
