A Sedalia woman is facing drug-related felony charges following the execution of a narcotics search warrant by the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office at a residence on October 7.

According to a probable-cause statement, authorities allegedly located two baggies containing a large amount of a crystal substance which field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine, a digital scale, several unused baggies and other drug paraphernalia inside a safe.

Court documents say Trisha D. Brown is charged with felonies for trafficking drugs in the second degree and delivery of a controlled substance. Brown posted $50,000 surety bond on October 13.

Brown was arraigned on October 12. Her counsel-status hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, initial hearing is pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
