The Lafayette County Health Department will be administering COVID-19 vaccinations at least two days each week.

According to health department officials, the Pfizer vaccine will be available at their office. You can walk in from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. You also can walk in from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the last Tuesday of the month.

Health department officials urge you to arrive early to fill out paperwork and allow for a 15-minute stay after receiving the vaccine.

Health department officials add, “We will be offering the pediatric Pfizer vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years once it is approved by the CDC, we receive our standing orders, and we receive our pediatric Pfizer vaccine shipment.”
