During the Slater City Council meeting on Tuesday, November 16, Mayor Dr. Stephen Allegri discussed a noticed the city received regarding winter weather and predicted rate changes in utility bills.

Mayor Allegri says the city received a warning from the Missouri Public Utility Alliance about winter weather and predicted gas rate increase in the area. Allegri read the notice out loud.

In other news, trash pick up for the week of Thanksgiving is scheduled for Friday, November 26. There will not be a lighting ceremony for the Mayor’s Christmas tree this year.
