A 52-year-old Kingsville woman died in a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County on Sunday, November 28.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by Vatina Gillespie, began to pass another vehicle and struck a northbound vehicle, driven by 18-year-old Bradley George, of Chilhowee.

Gillespie was pronounced deceased at the scene by Johnson County Coroner Clark Holdren. George told authorities he would seek his own treatment of minor injuries.

The crash happened at 1:42 p.m. on Missouri Highway 58, one mile north of Route F.
