An area law-enforcement agency is asking for help from the public in locating a man with an active warrant.

According to the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit, 27-year-old Micheal B. Hicks is wanted for delivery of a controlled substance. Hicks is described as a white male, 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Hicks is urged to contact the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit; or, if outside of Sedalia, contact your local law-enforcement agency. You can remain anonymous.

Authorities say you should not take any police action yourself.
