The Pilot Grove School District is scheduled to host a COVID-19 vaccination day in December.
District administrators say the vaccines will be available for children ages 5 to 11 and 12 and up.
According to nurse Gina Twenter, the vaccination day is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 8. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
If you are interested in your child receiving the COVID vaccine at school, district officials urge you to contact nurse Twenter so she may get a count together for the Cooper County Health Center.
You can contact her by calling the school at (660) 834-4115, ext. 3015.
