The Marshall City Council considered approval of a resolution authorizing City Administrator JD Kehrman to release a lien on a property located at 428 West Morrow.

In other news, the council approved the first reading of several ordinances, including agreements between the city and the Marshall Municipal Band (funded by a sales tax approved by voters), Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra ($9,000) and Marshall Community Chorus ($4,000). A second reading of each will have to be approved before going into effect.

The council also approved a resolution to adopt the 2022 Saline County Multi-Jurisdictional Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan. Kehrman explained the city needs to do that in order to be considered for any relief funding from SEMA and/or FEMA regarding any future narural disasters.
