Felony charges have been filed against a Warrensburg man after an alleged incident on November 30.

According to a probable-cause statement, a man alleged to authorities that Michael Wayne Cerutti tried to slash him with a knife during an argument over money.

Cerutti told authorities the alleged victim had stolen money from him.

Court documents say Cerutti is charged with felonies for assault in the second degree and armed criminal action. Bond is set at $10,000 cash only.

Cerutti pleaded not guilty during his arraignment on December 3. His next hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, at Johnson County Circuit Court.
