UPDATE: ACCORDING TO THE RAY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, THE TEEN HAS BEEN LOCATED AND IS SAFE.

Authorities in Ray County are asking for help locating a missing teen.

According to the Ray County Sheriff’s Office, 15-year-old Maddox (Maddi) Heins has been missing since Friday, December 10.

Heins is described as white and about 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds with dark brown hair.

Authorities say she could possibly be in the Norborne, Richmond, Lexington, Carrollton or Higginsville areas.
