An event to honor fallen veterans is scheduled for this weekend.

According to officials at the Missouri Wreaths Across America is Saturday, December 18.

On Wednesday, December 16, over 3,000 wreaths arrived at the Missouri State Veterans’ Cemetery in Higginsville.

The annual Wreaths Across America Program is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, then the wreaths will be placed.

Cemetery officials say, “All volunteers are welcome.”
