An area business owner brightened the Christmas season for more than four dozen people recently.

According to a news release, in the true spirit of Christmas, Sedalia business owner Jorge Guevara wanted to play Santa for some of the City’s residents when he came in to pay the past due water and sewer bills for 56 people.

The famous cartoonist Charles M. Schultz said, “Christmas is doing a little something extra for someone.”

City officials say, “The City of Sedalia wishes to extend our thanks to Mr. Guevara for “doing a little something extra” for its citizens this holiday season.”
