Marshall City Administrator JD Kehrman updated citizens about the agreement between the city and Marshall Public Schools to use the Martin Community Center during his report at the city council meeting on Monday, January 3.

Kehrman said everything is moving along smoothly.

In addition, Kehrman gave a shout out to the street and sanitation departments for their hard work during the recent winter storm.

In other news from the meeting, the council approved the second reading of an ordinance to execute a contract and pay $15,000 to the Marshall-Saline Development Corporation for its services for 2022.
