
A resolution regarding city lake grading and berm installation was considered by the Higginsville Board of Aldermen during its meeting on Monday, January 3.
City Administrator Jeanette Dobson explains a request was made by Paul and Cindy Heins.
In other news, Tim Trigg’s appointment to the Building Code Board of Appeals was approved.
Also, street department employee Matthew Elsea was recognized for five years of service to the city.
In addition, only incumbents filed to run for board positions in the Municipal Election: Don Knehans for Mayor; Lee Barker in Ward 1; David Wagner in Ward 2; and Daryl Augustine in Ward 3. The Municipal Election is scheduled for Tuesday, April 5.
And the next meeting of the Higginsville Board of Aldermen is pushed back one day to Tuesday, January 18, due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, January 17.
