Due to a water-main break, crews from the City of Fayette have shut water off supply to residents.

According to city officials, since water pressure in this area of the city will drop below the standards required by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the city is issuing an immediate boil advisory.

The advisory affects residences on Cooper Street and Shields Street, from South Williams to Noland Road, including all residences on Noland Road, effective immediately and until further notice.
